Mental Health Department at Faculty of Education Discusses Research Projects Presented by Students of Special Education Teacher Preparation


    Department of Mental Health at Faculty of Education held the discussions for the research projects submitted by the fourth-year students (2022 bylaw) enrolled in the Special Education Teacher Preparation Program. The projects covered the disciplines of Arabic language, English language, science and mathematics, and social studies.
   The sessions were attended by Prof. Doaa Fathy, Acting Head of the Department, along with academic staff from the department. The discussions concluded yesterday, Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, with participation of Prof. Sayyed Al-Bahhas and Prof. Dina Eissa.
   Dr. Sara Allam supervised and monitored the students and their research projects throughout the academic year 2025/2026. The department extended its sincere appreciation for her distinguished efforts in supporting students academically and in research activities.
    The department praised the students’ outstanding academic performance and their ability to apply the knowledge and acquired skills throughout their years of study by presenting distinguished action research projects in the fields of mental health and special education.
   The department also expressed its gratitude to the faculty administration, represented by Prof. Ahmed Helal, Professor of Mental Health and Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Walid Samir, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, as well as to all academic staff of the department and faculty who contributed to teaching and preparing the students, commending their academic efforts in shaping a distinguished generation of educators.
   At the conclusion of the event, the department extended its best wishes to the students for continued success and excellence in their academic and professional careers.
