Overview about the Scientific Journal at Tanta Faculty of Education
In the belief of the Editorial Board of the importance and necessity of scientific and educational research in developing the actual situation in the country, and based on the role of the University and Faculty in serving the society, the editorial board believes that the function of scientific research of the Faculty is the most important; whereas the development of educational or social reality can only be done through scientific foundations, studies and research that help decision-makers to be accurate and correct. Hence, the editorial board believes that the journal's function should not be confined to publishing research, but rather to put in the eye of consideration the educational issues raised in the society and try to study them academically and scientifically for the development and progress of our society.
The Journal seeks to scientific sobriety and methodical accuracy and encourages substantive criticism in addition to scientific creativity considering that the academic study of the educational problems is considered the center stage of our cultural consciousness. Hence, the Journal seeks to adhere to the objective approach with its tools and procedures.
The scientific Journal is interested in publishing highly distinguished scientific research, studies and articles in Arabic or English. Research and studies must subject to revision by distinguished professors in various specializations, in terms of following the fundamentals of writing scientific reports.
Moreover, the Journal welcomes publishing the abstracts of books, scientific theses or scientific reports about conferences, held inside or outside the Country, which discuss educational issues and problems. Arabic books should not date back to more than two years. Foreign books should not date back to more than three to four years. Arabic and foreign books published in the same year are preferred. The abstract is within three pages (350) words.
The Journal includes a number of research papers and various studies in different educational and human disciplines. The Editorial Board endeavored to participate in the arbitration of the research papers and elite distinguished professors specialized in Curricula and Teaching Methodology, Psychology, Educational Foundations, Comparative Education and Mental Health. The Editorial Board made sure that the researchers benefit from professors' views through careful study and make the required adjustments before approving research for publication.
The Editorial Board extends its thanks to the professors who have worked hard to read and judge research in order to maintain the scientific level of the Journal. Furthermore, the Journal is always keen on raising its level to gain the confidence of professors and researchers to achieve the required benefit from these research papers. In addition, the Journal issues four annual editions, an edition every three months, which can be increased if necessary.
The Journal administration is pleased to announce publishing regulations, which will be strictly adhered to. Hence, the administration appeals to researchers to adhere to these regulations in form and substance, so as to avoid disrupting their research and returning them for amendments.
1. The Journal shall not accept publishing any articles or research papers published or submitted to any other third parties even if the title has been changed.
2. Research shall be submitted printed in 12.5×20 cm and another copy on a CD typed on Word. Font size for titles is 16 and the content is 14. The font type is Arabic Transparence.
3. Arabic references are written with the first name. Foreign references are written with the last name. The name, year of publishing, name of the publisher, place of publishing and number of pages shall be written on the copy.

5. The researcher is responsible for copyediting and proofreading before submitting the research paper for publication to the Journal's management.
6. The researcher shall write his\her name and place of work in a separated page. The researcher mustn't mention his identity in the text.
7. An abstract of about (120-200 words) shall be attached in a separated page.
8. A number of three copies shall be submitted to the editorial secretariat for review and judgment; the secretariat keeps one copy in the Journal files and the other two copies shall be sent for judgment.
9. The research is attached with:
a. A printed and signed letter to request publication of the research or study.
b. After passing the stage of review and judgment, the Journal sends a letter of acceptance to the researcher with the date of receiving the judgment reports. If the research requires any modifications, the Journal editor sends it to the researcher attached with the notes. In case of not accepting the research, the editor sends a letter of apology to the researcher attached with the two copies sent for judgment.
10. The member shall afford the cost of retyping the research according to the Journal system after judgment.
11. After completing the required modifications, the research or article is enrolled in the waiting list for printing.
12. The Researcher affords the cost of any additional copies more than one copy he might need.
13. The Journal welcomes publishing the abstracts of books, scientific theses or scientific reports about conferences held inside or outside the Country which discuss educational issues and problems. 14. The articles or studies published by the Journal shall not be republished without the approval of the editor by obtaining a written authorization. It is to be at least one year after the publication of the journal.
