Vision

It is to upgrade the level of teachers' preparation, in their various scientific disciplines, and researchers to reach excellence and competitiveness locally, regionally and globally. It's also to prepare research and educational studies, and provide research and educational consultations.

Mission

The department seeks to participate in educational preparation of the pre-university stage teachers and develop them vocationally in accordance with the latest contemporary global trends. In addition, the department seeks to contribute to preparing distinguished researchers in one of the important educational disciplines "Comparative Education and Educational Management".

  • 1. Participating in educational preparation for the kindergarten, basic education and general education teachers. 2. Upgrading the research level in the field of Comparative Education and guiding researchers towards modern research fields in Comparative Education and Educational Management and helping them do research in these fields. 3. Variation of studies and comparative research in Comparative Education to include the following fields: • Comparative Education: Educational system, its history and comparative studies: case studies, area studies and over cultural studies, international education, continuous education systems, quality assurance systems and accreditation in education. • Educational Administration: educational administration, school administration, class administration, education funding and planning, educational supervision, institutional evaluation, quality accreditation and future and strategic planning. • Comparative Educational Administration: Education administration through a comparative prospective.
