Within the framework of the plan determined by the university to develop the infrastructure, increase the capacity, and improve the quality of education, Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President, inaugurated today the third educational building and the new headquarters of Public Service Center at Faculty of Education.
It was in attendance of Prof. Ahmed Helal, Faculty Dean; Prof. Walid Samir, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Yasser Bayyoumi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Ahmed Raga’ey, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; as well as a number of academic staff and faculty personnel.
Prof. Mohammed Hussain affirmed that these inaugurations are a part of the series of the structural projects and the projects of upgrading the efficiency of buildings, which represent a major pivot in the university strategy to update its educational buildings to cope with the international developments.
He pointed out that the capacity of the buildings of the university faculties is considered a pivotal item in improving the quality of the educational outputs. He added that Public Service Center that was inaugurated today is considered a vital platform to provide training courses that target refining the practical and academic skills of the students and graduates as well, in addition to providing quantum services to the local community to cope with the changing requirements of the labor market.
Tanta University President clarified that the new building contributes to providing a stimulating educational environment as it was designed in the light of the standard criteria which achieves the requirements of the quality of education.
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Helal, Dean of Faculty of Education, stated that the new building is formed from a ground floor in addition to four higher floors and includes two auditoriums and several academic halls equipped with the latest educational tools and modern technologies.
