Prof. Ahmed Helal, Dean of Faculty of Education, welcomed a delegation from the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Prof. Hazem Rashed, to follow-up on the implementation of the “Teacher Excellence” project and ensure its sustainability at the faculty, in the presence of vice deans and heads of academic departments.
The visit aimed to review the mechanisms for implementing the project, particularly with regard to the locations of labs and their level of readiness to receive the initiative’s equipment and assets, while emphasizing the current status of lab facilities.
The visit focused on the following key pivots:
1. Employment mechanisms during the stages of implementing the training package
2. Implementation stages and mechanisms of academic integration
3. Linking the training package to academic courses
4. The role of equipment and assets in supporting academic integration
5. Ensuring the sustainability of equipment
6. The expected impact
These capabilities also provide the faculty with an opportunity to establish digital labs and well-equipped training halls, ensuring the enhancement of the efficiency of academic staff in designing and employing innovative teaching strategies, and achieving alignment with the Education 2.0 system. These efforts contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the faculty as a distinguished center for teacher preparation and supporting the sustainability of the project outcomes in service of the educational and research processes at both local and international levels.
These steps come within the framework of the university commitment to enhancing the quality of education and improving teachers’ competencies, in line with modern developments in the field of education and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals within the Egyptian education system.
