Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President; and Prof. Ahmed Helal, Faculty Dean, Faculty of Education at Tanta University received today, Thursday, May 29th, 2025, the external reviewing team from the Arab Company for Engineering Consultations, AEC, including Eng. Nagwa Nasr, Team Leader; Dr. Amany Al-Zanaty, Reviewer; and Prof. Mohammed Amin, Company Advisor. They made sure of the extent to which the faculty abides by the quality standards and requirements in the light of the international quality standards.
    The quality team was received by Faculty Dean, who expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the academic staff and faculty employees for their efforts during the past period. During his inauguration word, Faculty Dean pointed out that the faculty witnesses unprecedented leap in several areas most prominent of them are: activating new programs with extra fees that meet the requirements of the labor market, increasing the number of scientific journals, launching training courses to contribute to community service, increasing self-development resources, and renewing halls and auditoriums via providing them with modern data shows. He also pointed out that the faculty is keen on providing a distinguished work environment for academic staff and employees, as a result, their offices were transferred to the new buildings of the faculty.
   For her part, Prof. Eman Sehsah, Deputy Manager of Quality Assurance Unit, gave a presentation on the achievements of the unit during the last year declaring that the unit organized more than 17 workshops to disseminate the culture of quality among academic staff and faculty personnel. She added that the unit paid great attention to developing the exam and assessment system for all classes via preparing and training a teamwork on creating question banks, forming a teamwork to assess the exam sheet, preparing questionnaires to assess the students’ satisfaction, and assessing the job performance for the managers of the departments in cooperation with Job Performance Assessment Unit. The unit implemented periodic internal reviews for the faculty departments and administrations.
