Faculty of Education at Tanta University announces launching the events of the 56th edition of Cairo International Book Fair which is considered the greatest cultural event in the Arab World. It is held from January 23rd to February 5th, 2025, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, with the participation of 1345 publishing houses from 80 countries, and more than six thousand exhibitors.
Guest of Honor: The Kingdom of Norway.
Main Figure of the Exhibition: This year, the exhibition celebrates the great archaeologist Salim Hassan, Dean of Egyptian Archaeologists.
Main Figure of the Children's Exhibit: The exhibition dedicates this year's children's literature focus to celebrate the renowned writer Yacoub El-Sharouni, one of the most prominent pioneers of children's literature in Egypt and the Arab world.
