Quality Assurance Unit at Faculty of Education Organizes a Workshop on Building and Analyzing Electronic Surveys and Utilizing Artificial Intelligence


   Under patronage of Prof. Ahmed Helal, Dean of Faculty of Education, and Prof. Walid Samir, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and as part of the ongoing efforts of the faculty to develop its quality assurance system, transition toward electronic data management, and enhance the capabilities of those responsible for preparing and analyzing assessment and measurement tools in support of quality standards and academic accreditation, Quality Assurance Unit organized a workshop for the Survey Team.
   The workshop addressed mechanisms for designing, developing, and analyzing electronic surveys, as well as utilizing artificial intelligence applications and tools to analyze survey results.
   The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the mechanisms of designing and creating electronic survey forms using Google Forms and Microsoft Forms (Office 365). These tools facilitate access to surveys and enable the rapid collection of data and responses through an organized and effective electronic system.
   The workshop covered several key topics, most notably the mechanisms for designing and developing electronic surveys, methods for accessing and compiling responses, and approaches to analyzing and statistically processing survey data. These practices help ensure the accuracy of results and enhance their usefulness in evaluation and continuous improvement processes.
   The workshop was delivered by Dr. Amir Shahin, Director of the Distance Learning Unit at the Faculty. He provided a practical and hands-on explanation of how to create electronic surveys and analyze their results, as well as how digital tools and artificial intelligence technologies can be used to support the quality assurance system, emphasizing the importance of using these technologies responsibly and safely.
   The workshop was attended by Dr. Marwa Nabil, Director of Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Ebtisam Sha’ban, Deputy Director of Quality Assurance Unit, along with a number of academic staff and assistant staff at the faculty.
